Looks like some good news!!

Well after much pressure to get some pictures posted We would like to introduce our newest member of the family Rocco the puppy!! We found him on a rescue center website, and after an all day trip we finally came home with him. Rocco is a shih-poo that is none shedding and hypoallergenic (Which is perfect for Riley) He was already 16 weeks old, and was a puppy mill rescue pup. We do have some added work since he was not socialized, but He will get there. He is improving all of the time. The kids are thrilled to have a new puppy, but Rocco is still a little scared of them. It will take time and patience, but this little ball of fur is worth it. Rocco is very attached to me, but the rest of the family is still needing some work. I was worried after an eventful day yesterday ( I don't want to talk about it) , but last night Rocco was letting the kids do whatever to him. It's going to be a take time thing:) For you cat lover's no Maple is not forgotten the kids bother her daily, and you would think Rocco and her were more like Garfield and Odie.

Pictures just don't do him justice. He is about 11 inches tall and just fuzz all over!!

PEACE ON EARTH

The kids are having a wonderful holiday season. Josie loves to say HO HO,and just start laughing. Riley everyday has to ask how many more days till Christmas. This has been going on for a while now. Just wanted to wish everyone a very Happy Holiday.

Pumpkins, Pumpkins, Pumpkins!!

The kids were so excited to pick out their own pumpkin this year. How much fun to go through all of those pumpkin rows.

Yes, your not seeing things! Josie did get bangs. As much as I hated to cut her beautiful hair she needed to be able to wear it down without always wearing a bow.


Riley's new thing besides watching the presidential debates with dad for a few minutes before he falls asleep, is building houses out of cards or books. It brings back a lot of childhood memories. Jeff decided to show Riley the right way to build the best card house( Mind was all mismatched:) The kids love the movie night we stated. How fun to get out the sleeping bags and eating popcorn.

Our Vacation

It was a busy couple of days for the kids. At night they had the whole big bed, but stayed right

next to each other.














We enjoyed a nice meal at the Rainforest Cafe. We all tried Calamari ( squid) and surprisingly we liked it. Riley seemed to enjoy it the most. Jeff just had to have a picture of part of us in the U.S. and part of us in Canada.

Summer is flying by!

Wow what a busy summer it has been. We have been busy adding a new bedroom for Riley. We are almost done. Riley turned 5 years old and thinks he is a grown man now. Our little princess Josie just turned 2 already. The talking has started to begin. The kids are growing up to fast. After Josie's birthday we went on Vacation to Niagara Falls. It was beautiful and the people there were beyond nice on both the U.S and Canadian sides. We tried to do to much, so we were all a little worn out by the end, but looking back on the photos we had some good times. the kids feed the fish at Marineland and loved it. we should have stayed at the pond all day. We also did the Maid of the Mist. Everyone loved it! I will post some more photos of the trip. I'm only going to be blogging once or twice a year, not that I spend blog that much now. Sorry if I don't update to often. I'm just busy trying to find more family time, so I will probably only post a couple of times a year! Hope you enjoy the photos:)

Already a year

This weekend was a sure delight!  On Friday we celebrated Josie's airplane day.  We can't believe it has already been a year since she has been home.  She is our little princess.  She is funny, smart, adventurous, and a bit sassy too!  We went to the aquarium to celebrate this weekend.  Found out that Josie is quit the fish herself at the hotel pool.  She already kicks her legs and moves her arms.  It was too funny!  The kids had so much fun.    Happy Earth Day tomorrow!!!!  Just remember as Riley tells me it is Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.
